Jamie from The Perpetual Page-Turner created this awesome bookish survey. I’ve seen it on quite a few blogs so I decided I’d go ahead and participate too!

Author You’ve Read The Most Books From
I would have to say Meg Cabot. I adore her books and I’ve read 43 of them, so far.
Best Sequel Ever
This is so hard for me! I’m torn between Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo and Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor. Can I pick both?
Currently Reading
I’m just starting The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken and re-reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.
Drink of Choice While Reading
Water. I tend to spill so water is the safest drink for me while reading.
E-reader or physical book?
Physical book. I’m getting better with my e-reader but I will always prefer the feel of a real book!
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated in High School
Umm I don’t know that I would have dated them but I definitely would have crushed on Jase Garrett from My Life Next Door. And his whole family.
Glad You Gave This Book a Chance
Graceling by Kristin Cashore. I was not a big fantasy fan until I gave this book a chance.
Hidden Gem Book
Mothership by Martin Leicht and Isla Neal. So funny and so underrated.
Important Moment in Your Reading Life
My first time reading Harry Potter. It was the first time I really fell in love with reading and started this crazy lifelong journey of being a book lover.
Just Finished
All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill and let me tell you, it was great. I loved it and ended up crying like a baby at the end.
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read
Heavy science fiction. I can handle most sci-fi young adult books because they aren’t nearly as confusing to me as adult science fiction.
Longest Book You’ve Read
It’s between Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at 870 pages and A Game of Thrones at 835 pages. I think A Game of Thrones might actually have been longer though since the font was smaller than HP.
Major Book Hangover Because of
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein. I dare you to read that book and not have a major book hangover.
Number of Bookcases You Own
A lot. I think I have 8 right now but I’m slowly taking over my parents’ bookcases. =)
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times
Harry Potter. The whole series has been read at least 4 times. I’m thinking I should go back for a 5th time soon.
Preferred Place to Read
My bed. I love piling up my pillows and cuddling under the blankets.
Quote That Inspires You
This one is a tough one. I really don’t pay that much attention to quotes unless I find them funny. But here’s one of my favorite Sarah Dessen quotes from The Truth About Forever.
“There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.”
Reading Regret
Only skimming the required reading for school. I’ve gone back and actually read most of them now but I missed out on some great classics in high school.
Series You Started and Need to Finish (series is complete)
So many! I’m terrible at finishing series but one that I can think of immediately is Courtney Allison Moulton’s Angelfire series. I only have one book left and it’s on my shelf!
Three of Your All Time Favorite Books
Let’s go with series! Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, The Mediator series by Meg Cabot, and the first two books in the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor.
Unapologetic Fangirl For
Harry Potter!
Very Excited for This Release More Than All the Others
Dreams of Gods & Monsters by Laini Taylor. I can’t wait to read the final book in this trilogy.
Worst Bookish Habit
I have no bad bookish habits. None. I treat my books like my babies.
X Marks the Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book
I’m not anywhere close to my shelves right now so I went with my e-reader. The 27th book on my e-reader is The Promise of Amazing by Robin Constantine.
Your Latest Book Purchase
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. So many people have told me to read this one so I caved and got a copy.
ZZZ-Snatcher Book (last one that kept you up way too late)
Panic by Lauren Oliver. I had to know how everything ended!
So do we share any of these in common? What are your answers? If you did the survey, feel free to leave a link in the comments and I’ll check out your posts!
