Books I’d Bite For At BEA! (2014 Edition)

BEA is almost upon us (again) and I thought I’d share some of my most anticipated titles with you guys.  I’m not sure all of these books will actually be at BEA but I’d be super excited if they are!

Also, this title is a total joke!  Do not bite anyone at BEA!

BEA

Mortal Heart (His Fair Assassin #3) by Robin LaFevers

This book is at the top of my wishlist for BEA! I adore this trilogy and I can’t wait to see how things are going to end. I’m hoping for lots of cameos from my favorite characters from the first two books!

Breathe, Annie, Breathe (Hundred Oaks #5) by Miranda Kenneally

Miranda Kenneally is signing copies of Breathe, Annie, Breathe at BEA and y’all, I plan to be one of the first people in that line! I’m so excited to meet Miranda since she is one of my favorite authors and of course I’m dying to read Breathe, Annie, Breathe.

Jackaby by William Ritter

This book was recently mentioned on Twitter and then I saw it on PW’s Childrens Galleys to Grab list and knew I was definitely going to need a copy. It’s described as Doctor Who meets Sherlock and while I’ve never seen Doctor Who (don’t hate me!) I love anything that’s compared to Sherlock Holmes.

Vivian Apple at the End of the World by Katie Coyle

This is another one that I saw on PW’s Childrens Galleys to Grab list. I’m intrigued by the whole idea of the Rapture and I’m a huge fan of road trip books so this sounds like the perfect book for me.

The Walled City by Ryan Graudin

First off, how gorgeous is that cover? I love it! Second, this book sounds so completely unique and fabulous. I’ve already seen a few reviews for it and so far everyone has loved it. I’m looking forward to it a lot!

I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson

Jandy Nelson’s debut, The Sky Is Everywhere, is one of my all time favorite books and I’ve been waiting for this book for what seems like forever. Honestly this book was on my TBR way before I even knew what it was about but I’ve been even more excited for it ever since I read the synopsis.

The Accidental Highwayman by Ben Tripp

This is said to be the perfect story for fans of The Princess Bride.  That’s all it took to get me interested in this one.

Gates of Thread and Stone by Lori M. Lee

I’m not sure where I first saw this book but I’ve been dying to get my hands on it ever since.  I adore the cover and the story sounds wonderful.  I’m all for fantasy novels and this one sounds like a unique new story.

Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis

This book reminds me a lot of Cinder by Marissa Meyer and since I adored that book, I figure there is a good chance I’ll enjoy this one.

Salt & Storm by Kendall Kulper

I’m a big fan of historical fiction and I really haven’t read many lately.  While this one does have a dash of magic, I still look forward to reading it for the historical aspect more than anything.

What do you think of my choices?  What books are bite-worthy for you?
