TAKE A COOL PIC, WIN FREE BOOKS!
Do you love to snap pictures with your phone? Feeling a tad creatively stifled during the dog days of summer? Want to win free books? Then I have the contest for you! It’s simple to enter and the prize is killer. All you need is a camera or a camera phone, an instagram, tumblr, facebook or twitter account and a copy of ONLY EVERYTHING (yours, your friend’s, your library’s or the one that lives on your tablet). Got those things? Good! Now snap a picture of ONLY EVERYTHING and upload it onto one of those platforms with the hashtag #onlyeverything. You can be as creative as you want. Snap a pic of the book at your local bookstore, take a selfie with your copy, have the novel photo-bomb your friends (it can be mischievous that way), or set up a scene, create some drama, add captions, filters, other books or accessories or whatever you want. GO CRAZY! Just get your photo uploaded by 12 midnight, EST on July 31, 2014 (the entry deadline).
That’s when the fun really begins. For us anyway. I’ve enlisted three of the coolest YA bloggers I know—Estelle at Rather Be Reading, Erica from The Book Cellar and Katie (ME!)—to help me judge the entries. We’ll pick our faves (based on their creativity) and choose a first, second and third place winner. The winners will be announced on our various blogs on August 8, 2014, where we will also post the top three photographs.
And now, to the important part: The PRIZES!!!
First Place Prize: A signed copy of ONLY EVERYTHING; plus your choice of either a signed ARC of COMPLETE NOTHING (now), or a signed copy of the finished book when it’s released in September; plus a signed copy of SOMETHING TRUE when it’s released in January. (That’s three books, in case the summer sun is too hot for your brain right now.)
