Every month there are a ton of new releases and I feel like a lot of them get overlooked.  I decided I’m going to spotlight a few books that Iam excited about each month.  These may include books I’ve read or books I’ve been dying to read!

Zac and Mia by A.J. Betts

I picked this one up at BEA because the publicist raved about it.  I haven’t been in the mood for this kind of book but I think I might try and pick it up this month.  It’s being compared to The Fault in Our Stars and Eleanor and Park (neither of which I’ve read) but maybe if I like this one I’ll give those a try.

Trial by Fire (Worldwalker #1) by Josephine Angelini

I’ve seen a ton of reviews for Trial by Fire, most of them good.  I also heard amazing things about Josephine Angelini’s previous series so this is definitely one I need to check out.

Egg and Spoon by Gregory Maguire

I’m sure most of you know who Gregory Maguire is but if you don’t, he wrote the Wicked series.  I adored that series and I look forward to reading his first ever young adult book.  It’s a fairy tale retelling with a case of mistaken identity and it sounds awesome.

Illusions of Fate by Kiersten White

I’m a huge fan of Kiersten White’s books so this one has to be included in my exciting releases for September list.  It’s compared to Cassandra Clare and while I know a lot of people aren’t fans of her books, I adore them so I look forward to reading this and seeing if it lives up to that comparison.

I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson

Need I say anything about this book?  I’ve already read it, my review will be up this month, if you haven’t preordered it, get on that!

Rites of Passage by Joy N. Hensley

This is another one that I’ve already read and written a review for.  I loved Joy N. Hensley’s debut novel and contemporary fans definitely need this one of their TBRs.
