Book By Their Covers is a new feature here on Katie’s Book Blog.  It is created by me and it is a chance for me to share my love of book covers.  In this feature, I will pick one book cover and give you guys my opinion of it. =)

My opinion:  This is a perfect example of a book I would buy based on the cover alone. Everything about this cover is fabulous.  The colors blend together so well and seem to fit perfectly with the title of the book.  The tagline for this one also goes great with the cover.  The girls naked shoulder is super pale and it seems to fit with a theme of contagion.  I also like that the dress and parasol give the book a historical feeling that seem to tie it to the original Masque Of The Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe.  The fonts used throughout this cover are also great selections.  The title font is very eye-catching.

Rating:  A+
